- Get clear on what you want, make a decision to go for it, then take action.
- Stay focused on what you want.
- Surround yourself with people that will hold you accountable and tell you want you need to hear, not what you want to hear.
- Do the things that you are afraid to do or don’t want to do.
- Do not be afraid to ask for help you need it.
- Do not be afraid to fail. Failure is essential to success.
- Ask for what you want, and keep asking until you get it.
- Never stop learning.
- Figure out what works and keep doing it.
- Do rules 1 through 9 again.
- This is a Bonus. Ask yourself why you are doing something. If it does not take you closer to your goal, stop doing it. If it must be done, delegate it or outsource it.

Hi. This is Ron Finklestein. I know how you feel because I have been there. It was a frustrating, lonely place to be until I learned the six questions my prospects want me to answer before they would buy from me. Do you know what they are?
I have been teaching these six questions to my clients for over 10 years and the results they are getting are staggering. One public relations firm increase sales 80% over last year. A cleaning company increased sales 30% in four months. One patent agent gained 1.5 hours a day in increase productivity and a financial planner increase revenues 40% in six months.
As I mentioned there are six questions your prospects want you to answer before they buy. Let’s look at question number one: What do you do? For example, most people would answer this question by saying I am an accountant or financial planner or business coach or computer consultant. Here is the problem: that’s not what they do, that’s how they do it. An accountant uses generally accepted accounting principle to achieve a certain results for their clients. A financial planner uses certain tools and techniques to achieve results for their clients; same for a business coach, lawyer, IT professional, and social media expert. Most small business owner confuse what they do with how they do it.
The real question here is what your clients experience when they work with you. Let’s look at our accountant again. Using generally accepted accounting principles clients of accountant (or accounting firm) might tell prospects that:
- You will sleep better because your tax are done right
- You will experience less hassle because we answer all questions with 4 hours
- We help you understand what the numbers really mean so you can grow sales, increase profit and keep more
When people ask me what I do, I tell them I grow sales, increase revenues and profits and shorten the sales cycle. If that does not generate interest, I know they are not likely to buy my product or service. If they are interested, the answer to “What do you do” is the beginning of the sales process. The answers to questions 2-6 help my prospects understand why I am the right and safe choice. My entire sales process is build around answering the six questions my prospects want me to answer before they buy from me. I don’t sell anymore. I teach people how to buy from me.
That is what I want to do for you. I want to increase your sales, increase your revenues and profits and shorten your sales cycle. And I want to make it so anyone can afford it.
My clients pay me a lot of money to help them grow sales and increase revenues. Many small companies cannot afford to pay for what I do even though there is a strong return on investment.
